For this main floor renovation of Project Deer Valley, we were tasked to redesign a kitchen, family room, sitting room and powder room. The client was given a large open concept kitchen, and a 10ft long L-shaped island perfect for family meals, or entertaining friends. For the perimeter of the kitchen we used a light colour quartz and contrasting dark colour on the island. Open cabinetry with a mirrored back, and glass shelves flanking the modern range hood gave this kitchen the beautiful modern-contemporary look the client had asked for.

Key considerations for this home were: to create an unobstructed sight-line from the kitchen to the family room, to provide smooth transitions room to room, and to keep existing focal points.
